
If you’re just coming off a marathon or half marathon training cycle and wondering what is next, then you may want to take a look at the 5K. You can parlay your fitness into a fast 5K with just a few weeks of “tune-up” workouts.
Once you have recovered from your race, take three weeks to build back up and run these three key workouts along with your weekly mileage to get 5K-ready. These workouts are designed to increase your foot turnover and build speed and hone in on race pace.
